Welcome to the Official Homepage of the Volunteer Fire Department of Brandywine, Maryland Inc. We are one part of the busiest combination (volunteer & career) fire department in the United States of America that makes up the Prince George's County Fire & EMS Department. The men and women of our station are proud to serve the citizens of Brandywine and our surrounding communities.

We provide emergency and non-emergency services, fire, heavy rescue, and emergency medical services free of charge to the citizens that we serve.

While on the air this morning, Rescue Squad 40 was involved in a property damage accident on Croom Road. The unit was struck by a turkey. Minimum damage to the front right windshield of the cab. No crew members were injured in the accident. The Squad is currently out of service.
